Please respect our gravel roads

Each year Royalton Township & Pine County invest tens of thousands of our property tax dollars to stabilize our gravel roads in Royalton Township and Pine County. These costs include applying graveling, grading, and the county applies magnesium or calcium chloride to help control dust and keep our gravel roads from eroding into the ditches.

You can help by reducing your speed and by encouraging your family, friends, and your weekend visitors to please slow down. Please respect our gravel roads. Speeding causes the “washboard effect” on gravel roads and ATV operators who create “doughnut” circles on the roads, results in excessive wear and tear and add higher costs to re-grade these roads.

Please help us keep the gravel on the roads, not in the fields, the ditches, front yards or picnic tables, please slow down.

Thank you,

Royalton Township Supervisors
